Author_Institution :
Wan Yuan Ind. Corp., Beijing, China
Abstract :
Case histories, design and test practice in the field of advanced electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) are reviewed. Failures caused by lightning, electrostatic discharge (ESD), and electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radiofrequency interference (RFI) are discussed. System and equipment design and analysis are examined, including lightning and ESD protection and computer-aided EMC analysis. Testing of a number of rockets and spacecraft is described
