Abstract :
A synthesizing method is proposed to design and implement low noise amplifiers (LNA) in the microwave frequency range. The LNA is implemented by using Chebyshev matching transformers (CMT). In particular, the effective bandwidth and noise figure of CMT LNA is larger than balance LNA 2.2 GHz and 2.7 GHz, respectively. The size of CMT LNA reduces up 23.8% of balance LNA. Two types of LNA are built and tested. A CMT LNA is presented and implemented to validate this method correct by measuring.
