Abstract :
The “Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear” (IPFN), a research unit of the “Instituto Superior Técnico” (IST), the biggest Portuguese engineering school, is very pleased to have organized the “17th Real-Time Conference” in collaboration with the “Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas” and the Technical Committee on Computer Applications on Nuclear and Plasma Science (CANPS) of the IEEE Nuclear Plasma Sciences Society (NPSS), from 24 to 28 May 2010, at the IST Congress Centre.
