  • Abstract
This paper provides a mathematical model of laminar boundary layer problem in hydrodynamics. Compared to the Navier-Stokes equation, this boundary layer equation has been tremendously simplified. Yet it remains a second-order nonlinear partial differential equations set with the nonlinear nature of equations retained, which makes it fairly difficult to solve the equation mathematically. This paper acquires the approximate analytical solution of the equation which satisfies boundary conditions by using Adomian Decomposition Method combined with Mathematic software. Thus, it shows that symbolic operations are accessible to the Adomian Decomposition Method.
