Abstract
Summary form only given. We present an optical analysis of an hexagonal array of Nd:YAG microchip lasers using a coupled mode theory. Each microchip laser is designed with a stable plano-spherical microcavity. The supermode theory is used to calculate the near and the far field of a conventional hexagonal cell of lasers and the results are extend to an infinite hexagonal array.
