Abstract
We have applied our method to the control of the model for a multimode Nd:YAG laser with an intracavity KTiOPO4 crystal. This laser system is designed to convert infrared light to visible green light via frequency doubling. However, for moderate pump powers the steady state laser output undergoes a Hopf bifurcation and for higher pump powers exhibits chaos
