Abstract :
A method for tracking multiple narrowband sources by means of a passive sensor array is presented. The resulting system is composed of an array of coupled digital phase-locked loop pairs (CDPLLS), with each CDPLL pair tracking and canceling a unique source from the system´s input signal composite. The performance of the CDPLL pair, including stability, convergence, equivalent bandwidth, and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) threshold, is studied through either analysis or computer simulations. A simulated acquisition and resolution of two sources is presented
