Abstract :
Based on the review on studies in computer-assisted language learning(CALL) in literature, this paper discusses the status quo of CALL and different perspectives related to teacher and students´ engagement in CALL activities in China, finally suggests a long-term and a short term prospect guiding the understanding of teacher and students´ development in a Chinese CALL context.
