Abstract :
Case-based teaching is an usual teaching method. It has been introduced in so many course teaching due to its special merits. While, HSE Risk Management is a special elective course which is established in petroleum engineering and associate professionals. This course is aim at training undergraduate with special background to managers with certain HSE management ideas. According to the teaching characters of HSE Risk Management,This paper took "Safety Culture in Petroleum Company " as an example to study case teaching. It can provide some lessons and suggestions to HSE Risk Management course teaching and trainning with case-based teaching, and enrich teaching methods, so that can improve teaching effect.
