Abstract
Automated negotiation has become the core of the next generation dynamic trade method of e-commerce. The Agent plays a very important role in the construction of automated negotiation system. This paper focuses on agent´s independent decision-making process; formally defines an abstract concept model for negotiating agent; then designs negotiating agent´s architecture based on the concept model, which can support both goal-directed reasoning and reactive response; proposes an algorithm for running the decision making model. Finally, for illustration, the model is applied to an exemplified negotiation process for aircraft purchasing.
