An intelligent network service prototype for private network

An intelligent network (IN) service prototype for private networks is described. The proposed architecture has the following features: clear separation of physical and logical plane to make it easy for vendors to provide various types of networks; hierarchical logical plane to hide the location and a handling method of network resources; and strong user support function which delegates required service selection. A prototype system based on this architecture is described, and service examples making use of artificial intelligence technology are introduced.
