Abstract
Competitive priority as an important part of manufacturing strategy, the sequencing and relationship between them is an important means to achieve competitive advantage of manufacturing enterprises. This study applied the International Manufacturing Strategy Survey (IMSS) data in 2009 (the IMSS-V data), to conduct empirical analysis of competitive priority of cross-industry manufacturing enterprise, the results show that the cumulative relation of competitive priority between different industry was confirmed, but the degree of importance is different. Through the results of the study, manufacturing enterprises should clear the relationship between competitive priority so as to determine the portfolio strategy and characteristics of competitive priority, in order to make strategy for manufacturing to improve overall advantages.
