Abstract
The bit error rate (BER) of a code division multiple access (CDMA) system with a simple smart antenna is analyzed. The BER is also simulated and compared with the analysis. When the direction of the arrival angle (DOA) of the desired user signal is perturbed with a duty cycle, it is observed whether the smart antenna can track back the DOA of the desired user signal or not after perturbation. In addition its effects on BER results are presented
