Abstract :
With the maturation and development of the Web services´ technology, the distributed semantic Web service´s publishing and discovery mechanism is presented in order to find the target service quickly, accurately and efficiently in the flood of Web services. The mechanism is two-tier service registration management system which is constructed by the ontology reasoning to form the category Chord ring and the area Chord ring based on the distribution of the chord protocal, and extending the centralized UDDI by the OWL-S. It can overcome the performance bottle-necks and single-point-failure of UDDI, and improves the efficiency of service discovery as distributed search. During the services´ discovery process, it proceeds two-stage matching to find based on the services´ syntax and semantics informations, to ensure the precision of services´ discovery. Then a designed and implemented prototype system approves that the mechanism is reasonable and efficient.
