Abstract
In this paper a pulse propagation along the nonlinear and dispersive fiber in high-speed DWDM systems is considered. Basic equation of propagation of the pulse with Gaussian envelope and its solution obtained using finite differences method is presented, as well as the simulation results for a specific parameter values
