Abstract
In order to perform distributed track fusion against the clutter background and missed detections, one should make sure that the tracks do not coalesce when they cross each other. This paper investigates an ad-hoc method of employing the IMM-JVC algorithm together with the probabilistic data association filter, in order to reduce, to a reasonable low percentage, the ratio of lost tracks caused by tracks crossing, on the expense of a small reduction in the allowed target maneuverability when tracks interaction is in effect
