Abstract
This paper discusses the use of existing telephone lines to provide simultaneous voice and inband data communication over a single circuit. Traditionally, two separate lines have been required to provide simultaneous voice and data communications. Combining data transportation and voice communication on one telephone line can provide new services on the existing world wide telephone network
