Abstract :
An overview is given of MIL-H-38534, a military specification that establishes the general requirements for hybrid microcircuits. MIL-H-38534 provides hybrid microcircuit manufacturers with the first specification for hybrid microcircuit devices only. The basis for MIL-H-38534 is MIL-M-38510, MIL-STD-883, and MIL-STD-1772. The new specification is formatted in a manner similar to MIL-M-38510; however, much of the content is unique and provides requirement options which are intended to afford flexibility for manufacturers of all types of hybrid microcircuits from high-volume catalog standards to low-volume complex custom devices.
