Abstract
Prediction of casualties loss is an important part of risk management in mine. Based on the different damage degree, the total personnel casualties loss was calculated. According to the grey system theory, the GM (1, 1) predicting model was established for predicting the personnel casualties loss in mine. By testing, the prediction precision grade of the model is "good", the fitting precision of the actual value and forecastable value is high, it has certain practical value, the predicted results can be used as the basis of safety control in mine.
