Abstract :
In order to improve on-time delivery of orders and reduce the delivery time of orders, the critical chain project management method is introduced to the order management in multi-variety and small batch order production companies and a critical chain based multi-order management method is yielded. To reduce the complexity of multi-order processing in each task node, a task group is used to simply the process of critical chain identification. A task group based critical chain identification algorithm for multi-order management is proposed. The proposed algorithm is verified in an air conditioner manufacturing company. The illustrative example shows that the proposed algorithm could help the company to rationalize resources allocation, to make reasonable guaranteed delivery time and to reduce the lead time.
