Abstract :
Offline tuning of a genetic algorithm (GA) based time domain optimal PID controller has been carried out with stochastic consideration of delays and packet dropouts in a real time Networked Control Systems (NCS) by minimizing the Integral of Time multiplied Absolute Error (ITAE) and Integral of Squared Control Signal (ISCS). Hardware validation of the optimal PID controller performance is done on a real time NCS test-bed.
