Abstract
When analyzing any problems taking into account uncertainty, the only rational way is associated with seeking the possibility of overcoming the uncertainty at all stages of solving the problem. This can be realized by using information of a formal as well as informal nature, aggregating information arriving from different sources, including decision making. The approach, based on the method of fuzzy set theory and elements of expert system technology allowing the effective solving of the problem of controlling distribution system modes of operation, is considered in this paper
