Abstract
In this paper we employ the method of moment generating function (MGF) to derive a closed-form minimum bit-error-rate (BER) expression for dual switch-and-stay diversity noncoherent frequency shift keying (NCFSK) systems operating in two-wave with diffuse power (TWDP) fading channels. Optimal switching threshold and minimum BER performance curves for various TWDP fading parameters are plotted and discussed.
