The study investigates the role of co-worker and supervisory support towards the job performance of hotel employees. A survey instrument that included measures of perceived co-worker support, supervisor support and job performance was administered to 196 hotel employees in Kuala Lumpur. Findings showed that there is a need to distinguish forms of support in organizations as only co-worker support recorded a significant influence on job performance. Implications and recommendations for future research are also provided.
