Abstract :
The paper describes an environment for quick prototyping of educational interactive multimedia packages developed at the Multimedia Laboratory of the Politecnico di Torino. It simplifies the work of content authors and their interfacing with multimedia developers. A structure generator builds content books with predefined user interface including commands and navigation tools. A tool to assist the construction of tests and exercises is included in the package. The modular structure allows to build educational modules tuned to specific user profiles and didactic targets
