Abstract :
Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) have been used to perform classification for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). This paper proposes a new neural network, the Contenders´ Network (CN) which requires little initial knowledge of the classification problem and lesser neurons than other ANNs
