Abstract
The increasing demand for media and high capacity digital services including computer, voice, and data communications between remote places and urban areas is calling for fast and flexible implementation of matched transmission means. The development of VSATs (Very Small Aperture Terminals) is one of the answers to this challenge in the framework of a general development of new services in India. This paper describes the major multi service applications of the VSAT network, which involves a S-Aloha/Time Division Multiple Access System
