Abstract :
This paper in support of the grid resource management and scheduling techniques based on grid computing environment for use in single-processor Resource Advanced Reservation(AR) problem, given the rigid scheduling algorithms and slack scheduling algorithms of support resource AR, and the simulation results on the performance of the two algorithms were studied. The results show that rigid resource reservation operations to ensure the implementation of AR jobs, slack scheduling reduces the average waiting time and average slowdown factor of non-reserved job, improved the performance of non-reserved jobs.
