Abstract :
This paper describes the experiment results with noise reduction in induction motor drive fed by the voltage inverter. The tests were conducted using the hybrid PWM method proposed in [1]. The HPWM reduces computational overhead in space vector computation and introduces k0 factor. The proper shaping of k0 allows either reducing switching losses in power devices or minimizing current ripple in the load. However in some cases modulation of k0 is ineffective. The authors proposed modification in PWM realization to improve silencing of the induction motor.
