Abstract
This paper presents a new switching pattern of a three-phase soft switching inverter that can decrease the power loss within a resonant snubber circuit. The proposed voltage vector pattern is achieved by controlling the zero voltage situation of the DC busline. The effectiveness of the proposed voltage vector is proved by simulation analysis and experimental results. Simulation analysis is based on characteristic of IGBT, diode, resonant inductor and filter inductor in the actual experimental machine
