Abstract :
This paper deals with a major problem encountered in the area of airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image mosaic when SAR is applied in large-scale scene. In order to enhance real-time performance and robustness of image mosaic, a mosaic method for airborne SAR image based on location is put forward. And the comparing experiments between the proposed approach and the direct image mosaic method are made on the basis of actual data. The experimental results demonstrate the real-time performance, robustness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
