Abstract :
We introduce the necessary and sufficient conditions for robustness of watermarking algorithms and the relation of attack energy, embedding strength and distinction parameter. This solves the problem of choosing the embedding parameter effectively and provides the approach for controlling the embedding strength optimally. Then we analyze the optimization of fixed fidelity for a given PSNR (peak signal-to-noise ratio) and BER (bit error rate) under Gaussian noise attacks and get the upper limit of the embedding strength in spatial domain. We present the computation method of the embedding capacity for a given BER, embedding strength and attack energy under Gaussian noise attacks. The experimental results support the analysis
