Abstract
Circuit modelling and simulations of large, complex electrical systems presents obstacles related to issues such as circuit partitioning, model validation, consistency, speed, and model management. This paper presents the methodology and processes used by a group at Sandia National Laboratories to resolve these issues in their effort to develop a circuit level simulation model for a large-scale electrical system using the PSPICE schematics hierarchical-based circuit simulator
