Abstract :
Analyze the traditional PageRank algorithm of the search engine deeply. According to its topic drift and putting emphasis on old web pages, an improved PageRank algorithm is proposed, which is based on the text content analysis and the introduction of time factor. The improved algorithm can effectively meets the correlation requirements and authoritative problem. It can fit all kinds of web surfers´ needs. Experimental results show that the modified algorithm performs better than the standard PageRank. Futhermore, it can effectively reduces the topic drift and enhance the satisfaction of web surfers obviously.
