Abstract :
Summary form only given. The results of the aerodynamic testing of a rectangular surface substantially covered by a thin layer of a one atmosphere uniform glow discharge plasma (OAUGDP) in air will be reported. Due to the high neutral particle density and the presence of electric fields and charged species, currently available computational methods are inadequate to determine the effect that a one atmosphere uniform glow discharge plasma would have on aerodynamic drag over a surface.
