Abstract :
We report an analog predistortion chip developed in 0.18 mu CMOS technology. Linearity improvement of 6-7 dB for power amplifiers has been demonstrated over 60 MHz bandwidth. The chip was also applied for the linearization of externally modulated fiber-optic links where SFDR improvement of 8 dB was achieved for a bandwidth of 40 MHz.
