Abstract :
The author discusses the implications of very high-speed integrated circuits (VHSIC) hardware description language (VHDL) for the logistics quality of systems. He suggests that VHDL can help unfreeze the reliability of a deployed system by smart designing and support and that it can help improve data correlation and the reduction of field and intermediate levels of maintenance. In addition, VHDL can enhance the inspection and testing of factory and depot quality, and stress screening can be more intelligent in its layout. VHDL allows better microcircuit understanding to achieve better analytical and predictive tools. VHDL helps give new microcircuit repair facility capabilities to the depot. It is suggested that using the VHDL, better failure analysis can be made available and better repair and design improvements are possible
