Abstract
City emergency is one of the top threatens to the public safety. To devise appropriate schemes for emergency response, effective risk analysis of emergency evacuation is almost a necessity. In light of this, we propose a model for city emergency evacuation based on the multi-agent simulation framework, which has found successful applications in various areas and in specific is very suitable for the emergency evacuation problem. Through extensive simulation results the effectiveness of our proposed model is verified.
