  • Abstract
This paper describes present status of bridge structure monitoring, the significance of bridge health monitoring systems and the components of those systems. Special bridge health monitoring system for Tianxingzhou Bridge is constructed. It is mainly based on fiber grating sensing detection and other supplementary measures. The structure and function of individual subsystems were studied. Moreover, the requirements for normal bridge health monitoring are also in the research. With Brower / Server model, individual subsystems are combined with each other. And a real-time intelligent health monitoring system is built. It is also web-based.
