  • Abstract
There are two types of handwriting which have far-reaching effects in different areas: one is Chinese calligraphy which is used by the most people; the other is the western handwriting which is the most widely used. And they form two cultural circles. Handwriting is snubbed by designers for a time because of the convenient technology in recent art designing. The culture and strong psychological characteristics which the handwriting bears are ignored. We can understand two types of handwriting through the analysis of the characteristics of them, if so, they can be applied simply in the designing.
