Abstract :
It is discussed that the starting performance of SR motor is influenced by different mode of running. On the linear condition, the relation between electromagnetic torque and electric current of SR motor is deduced. The fine performance of the SR motor with small starting current and great starting torque is validated from the research on control mode of the SR motor in low velocity and high velocity. At last the measure to improve the starting torque is advanced.
