  • Abstract
Streaming media network transmission has specific QoS problems such as high package loss ratio, low throughput caused by bit error rate (BER) and transmission delay. A brand new framework based on EMIPLIB (DM media over IP library) is lodged in this article hereinafter by systemic analysis on the QoS index of streaming media. This framework, mentioned hereinbefore, preferably presents a designing concept of opening, standardization, modularization, expandability and reconstruction. The advantages of this framework, including better adaptive capacity, good transplanting features, expandability and feasibleness, can provide a transmission platform to the streaming media with assurance of QoS, and in addition, it highly simplifies the application and exploitation work. Thus, we can conclude hereby, that this framework has offered the streaming media transmission a unique scheme.
