Abstract :
System “SOKOL-0” can be considered as computer network VSAT´s connected by satellite communication channels with a master computer at the central ground station. The important feature of the system consists in information receiving/transmission automation: taking into account priorities of uses and messages and connection provision, information exchange, mail handling, book keeping, and some other operations which don´t require operator interference. The channel protocol provides automated error correction using antinoise coding and automated retransmission of information with uncorrected errors. The system space segment consists of “POTOK” satellite-transponders
