  • Abstract
    The US Air Force initiative called R&M (reliability and maintainability) 2000 is discussed. The purpose of this initiative is to make R&M a normal business practice in Air Force weapon system acquisition and support. The author considers the activities towards improving the R&M of Air Force weapon systems and accomplishing the goals of R&M 2000. Future aspects are also dealt with
