  • Abstract
    Steel plate pick-up operation scheduling on stackyard of shipyard aims to minimize the overall cost of operation by reducing the frequency of rehandling operations. The decision-making optimization model of pick-up operation scheduling was constructed with two processes: selecting pick-up steel plates and rehandling operation scheduling. This is a bilevel programming problem, and a nested heuristic algorithm based on genetic algorithm is proposed and implemented to solve this problem. The algorithm has been testified with a numerical experiment and the results show that it enhances the operation efficiency by 2-4 times.
