Abstract
An automated fault injection system developed for an air-traffic-control system processor is reported. Its development from initial conception through the design tradeoffs to its final implementation is described. It is shown how the system was used on the target processor, and the impact it had on the built-in testing and fault-isolation-testing (BIT/FIT) facilities
