Ideas on the teaching of product design basic courses

In the undergraduate period, the teaching of product design bases on the training of three-dimensional shaping with the aim of studying the relationships between shape, material, structure and function by which the students´ ability of shaping could be developed. To be more scientific and efficient, in the teaching of basic design courses, the teacher should deconstruct the questions, put an emphasis on observing and analyzing, pay attention to the join up of courses, as well as the transition to product design.
