Abstract
During Complex Product Design (CPD) process, many problems such as information integration and agile response to users´ changing requests need to be implemented, but these problems are yet to be solved. In this paper, a novel framework called SWSCPD for the CPD process based on semantic Web Services is proposed, which integrates service logic graphics (SLG) and semantic process templates (SPT) to describe semantic services. The information sharing and collaboration during the CPD process are promoted from syntactic to semantic level. A new approach of service discovery is also discussed. The preliminary implementation demonstrates that the framework provides an efficient solution for the process of CPD.
