    It is imperative to construct an English curriculum with features of high vocational and technical. English for special purposes is a new teaching model which can benefit students both in English learning and specific knowledge. It also provides an effective way to improve the quality of English teaching because of its strong practicality and professional characteristic. This paper analyzes the current situation of English teaching in Chinese vocational education, and proposes the direction and strategies used in English for special theory.
