Abstract
Presents an analysis of Geosat-ERM and Seasat data using GEM-T2 orbits for both datasets. First, the 35-month Geosat-ERM dataset is analyzed and the results show that no significant trend in ice-sheet growth can be inferred. Next the author analyzed Geosat ERM-Seasat data spanning the time period from 1978-1987 and found a 0.07 m/yr growth rate. This rate is nearly 3 times smaller than previously reported results. The results eliminate some of the uncertainty in the previous work and are more consistent with reported in situ measurements of ice-sheet growth
